The USDC Drop — Terms & Eligibility

Last updated 17 August 2026.

1.Who can play

You need an X (Twitter) account, and you sign in with it so we can check it. All three of these are required:

You do not need a blue check or an X Premium subscription.

Eligibility is decided automatically from your X profile at sign-in. If you think you were turned away in error, write to us at the address at the bottom of this page.

You must be 18 or over. Employees of Lingo, and their immediate families, cannot win the grand prize. The drop is void where prohibited, and you are responsible for knowing whether promotions of this kind are permitted where you live.

2.One person, one account

This is the rule that decides whether a prize gets paid. Everything below is a ground for disqualification, and a prize won this way is not awarded:

If we disqualify an entry, the grand prize is treated as unwon and rolls into the next drop, exactly as it would if nobody had found it. It is not passed to the next player in line.

We look at ordinary signals to enforce this: the age and standing of the X account, how the boxes were opened, and the pattern of referrals. We are not going to publish the full list, for the obvious reason.

3.What every player gets

Every box that is opened wins two things, and neither of them can be lost:

Both are rewards for taking part, not prizes in a draw, and both are subject to the fair-play rule in section 2.

4.The grand prize and the odds

There is one 500 USDC prize in the whole drop. Your chance of winning it is about 0.01% per box you open, which is 1 in 9,999. That figure is the real per-box probability, not a headline number: the prize is placed on one board in 1,111, and each board gives a genuine 1-in-9 pick.

Once it is won, it is gone. The counter on the drop page says whether it is still unclaimed, and that is read from the live record every time the page loads.

5.Extra boxes for referrals

If someone signs in with your invite link and opens their box, you earn another box, up to 10 extra boxes. Every box you open is a separate chance at the 500 USDC on the odds in section 4, including boxes earned this way.

Referrals must be real people who chose to take part. Referring accounts you created or control is covered by section 2 and disqualifies all of the boxes involved, not just the ones referred.

6.How the draw works, and how you can check it

Before you pick, you are shown a cryptographic commitment to the board: a hash of a secret we have already fixed. After you open, we publish that secret. Anyone can recompute the board from it and confirm it matches the hash you were given first, which is what proves the contents were decided before you chose and were not changed by your choice.

Use the Download proof button on the reveal screen to take the full record away with you.

7.Closing date

The drop closes at 17:00 CEST on Tuesday 25 August 2026. No new boxes are dealt after that moment. If you have a box already open when the clock runs out, you can finish it.

Nobody may win the 500 USDC. It sits in one box out of the drop, and if nobody happens to pick that box before the closing date it is not awarded — it rolls into the next drop instead. That is a real possibility at these odds, not a formality.

8.Claiming the 500 USDC

The prize is credited to your Lingo account. Before it is paid we will ask you to confirm you are a real, single participant: verifying the X account you played with, holding a Lingo account in the same name, and giving us an email address we can reach you at.

You have 30 days from being notified to complete that. If you do not, or if the checks show the entry breached section 2, the prize is not awarded and rolls into the next drop. Prizes are not transferable and there is no cash alternative.

Any tax on a prize is the winner's responsibility.

9.Your data

When you sign in with X we store, from your public X profile:

And from playing:

We do not receive your password, your email from X, or your direct messages. We cannot post on your behalf — we only ever ask X for read access. We do not sell your data.

You can ask us to erase your personal details. We do that by permanently scrambling the identifying fields; the anonymous play records stay, because the drop has to remain auditable and they no longer point at you. A proof file you downloaded yourself stays verifiable either way.

10.Changes

We may correct errors and may end or suspend the drop early if it is being abused or if something breaks. If we do, we will say so on this page. The odds and the prize will not be changed while the drop is running.

This promotion is run by Lingo and is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by X Corp.
